These particularly robust mounts are milled from solid high-strength aircraft aluminum (7075).
They are available as two-piece ring mounts or as one-piece block mounts in short and extended versions. The one-piece block mounts, available with 2“ and 3” extensions, are primarily suitable for AR15 weapons with flat-top receivers, whereas the short standard version fits many types of bolt-action rifles and self-loading rifles.
The mounts have recoil lugs fixed in the base body, designed for Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails. All functional parts are stainless and hardened. The surfaces are hard anodized to Mil-Spec Type III matte black.
The mounts are available in two versions, either with nuts or safety levers.
The nuts can be easily operated with standard tools with SW 11 mm / 7/16", a screwdriver, or the back of a knife.
The safety levers reliably prevent accidental opening.
The particularly wide rings provide a clamping surface of 2300 mm² per ring, which, in combination with high-strength Torx screws, provides a secure hold even for the heaviest telescopic sights.
ERATAC mounts are available with or without forward tilt in diameters of 30 mm and 34 mm. For riflescopes with a 1" center tube diameter, we offer reduction rings that can be inserted into the rings.
All rings are equipped with a universal interface that can be used to attach add-on parts such as Picatinny rails in various lengths and special mounting plates for red dot sights. The former allow additional devices such as lamps, lasers, and various accessories to be mounted securely and in a space-saving manner.
