OT Defense SLS Nub Mod Black for Safariland Level 3 ALS/SLS Holsters

Draw faster and smoother from your Safariland Level 3 SLS/ALS holster –
In use by the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team, hundreds of Federal and Local SWAT officers, military teams and competitive shooters. 
 
Faster: The reversed angle matches up with the pad of your thumb sooner than the factory button. You will find the gun in your hand just by grabbing it. Weak hand drawing becomes faster as well. 
More Reliable: The wider release button means you have even less potential to miss the activation, especially on thigh rigs or mounting systems that push the holster away from your body. If you have ever found yourself pulling up on the gun before hitting the release you've noticed that gun is difficult to almost impossible to get out. The additional leverage of the Nub Mod fixes this stress induced or poor training problem if it ever arises due to the increased surface area for the thumb to engage. 
Simple Install: Simply press the larger Nub piece over the factory button from the inside of the holster.  Align the smaller narrow piece with the top of the larger one. Insert screw and tighten with supplied allen wrench.  You may add Loc Tite or finger nail polish to the threads if desired.
The SLS Nub Mod is angled to provide your SLS hood clearance over the Nub. Grooved to minimize the chance of you thumb sliding off.
Comes with a washer and extra allen wrench for your holster screws.
 
Note: 1911 (and other guns with large thumb safety's/decockers -Sig, M&P with safety-) users will find the safety in the way. You must buy the 1911 Nub! Level III users must buy the SLS Nub! Does not work with HK USP's with the safety in the 'SAFE' position. This adds 1/8" toward the weapon from the factory lever.  New holsters for the 'compact lights' require some filing of the lever to fit the Nub Mod.
