Battery Ordinance

In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries, we as a retailer are obliged under the Battery Ordinance (Act on the placing on the market, return, and environmentally sound disposal of batteries and accumulators – BattG) to inform you, as a consumer, of the following:

You are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. You can return them after use at our retail store, at a municipal collection point, or at a local retailer.

Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out wheeled bin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines their classification as hazardous.
